Hi all,
Just a quick note to say a Massive well done to everyone who took part in the events over the weekend, the parade at cleethorpes was amazing the troupe looked awesome all done out as pirates and we had some brilliant comments as we went past. Thanks to all the parents and helpers who dived in and helped us out with getting the truck sorted out. Big thanks to Jack for the lorry and to Cody and his good lady wife for the driving you where brillaint (couldnt help the speedboat comment). Big thanks to Adam Codling and the guys at DSL for scaffolding the trailer up, and for letting us keep the scaffolding so we can use it for future parades.
We would like to say a Massive Thank You to all the businesses around scunthorpe who have helped us out with materials to build the float up with such as: BK RECYCLING , JOHNSTONES DECORATOR CENTRE, DULUX DECORATOR CENTRE (ASHBY), HOWARTH TIMBER, MELLIOR COMMUNITY COLLEGE (LIN DUNSTAN - ART DEPT), WOLD VIEW TRANSPORT, THE DANCE SHED, ASDA.
Thanks to the guys at Twinkles in Cleethorpes for hiring us the costumes that made such a great impression. Shaun and the guys at the RNLI station in Cleethorpes for cheering us on as we went past (we still think our boat was bigger than yours by the way).
And finally to Leanor and Cleethorpes Carnival Parade Committee without whose hard work and dedication to the event, this parade would not take place every year.
Will post on Facebook etc the results as and when we find them out .................
Thanks to everyone who turned out on Sunday as well for the Grimsby Hospital Carnival at the Sanford Club in Grimsby, You all did so well considering the tired legs and headaches that had by most haha.

EXCELLENT DAY,,,SO PROUD 2 be part of such a talented troupe,,,u r all SIMPLY THE BEST,,,BETTER THAN ALL THE REST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,,,,ha ha ha ha !!!!!!!

Hi All .... Just want to say a big well done to all the troupe for sunday at the Scunthorpe United open day, Broughton show this week, so go out there and give it all you have got, whatsmore enjoy yourselves. Then next week is the Grimsby Telegraph Motor Show, at least the weather should be better than at the scunny one haha.

What a great weekend, our first trip to a GBBTA competition and we thoroughly enjoyed it, many thanks to everyone that put in so much hard work and effort in order to make it all worthwhile.
After seeing the vastly experienced troupes that Lincs were up against, it was fantastic to see some of you guys come back with medals and trophies, well done to all that competed, we're proud of the whole Lincs team.
We hear there are a few 'improvements' in the pipeline (dance tutors, web page enhancements, and PR support), so hopefully Lincs will be reaching further into the community in order to generate better funding and attract more members.
Linc Majorettes have shown that they have the drive and determination needed in order to match - or even beat - those more experienced troupes in competitions, and if everbody keeps pulling together we believe it won't be long before the results start reflecting that ambition.
You guys can do it, every practice session and every display brings you closer to achieving some great rewards, teamwork and confidence could make Filey 2011 the one you'll never forget.
oh and Rick, get yourself a bigger battery charger *wink*
A big cheer and huge round of applause goes out to you all, thanks for a great time folks

just got back from an amazing weekend,, with an amazing troupe,,you should all be soo proud of yourselves,,you all danced great, looked great,, and the behavior of all the children and (adults) ha ha, was excellent,, all i can say is roll on next year,,and i look 4ward 2 a summer of great shows,!!! I also think tammy is an amazing teacher, all of the trainers for the top teams in the comps are adults with 20 years experience under there belts! tammy is 16 with a year of training experience,, and 4 us 2 walk away with 10 awards is outstanding!!!! WELLDONE YOU!!!!!!!!!! ,, GO LINCS,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone. Just to say a massive thankyou to all the 11 girls that attended the individual Strictly Dance Twirl comp on Sunday. All the dances were fantastic, and the costumes looked great, but i would say that lol. We were lucky enough to come away with 1ST Place for the second year running in the Junior Duo Section, and 2ND Place and 3RD in the Tinies Duo Section. Hope you all as excited as me for our next comp at Filey in April. The troupe has improved so much in the last year and I am sure we will be coming home with lots of awards,

im really proud of my girls joining lincs they never had the confidence to join anything but everyone at lincs made them both very welcome and without fail they want to go every week they love it thanks guys. i would also like to thank tammy for all the hard work shes been doing for all the girls for the up and coming competition i know they will all do you proud tammy. also they all look so smart in their new uniform, my girls wont take them off they have to show everyone.. ive never seen my girls so dedicated as they are right now ,cant wait for the competition now

Hi All,
Just wanted to say the troupe are looking so smart now with the hoodies etc ... its going to be a very busy year for us and the way you are all shaping up you are going to do the troupe proud. Cant wait to see you all at Filey in the new costumes, you will be great, i knew there was a reason why we have been called "North Lincs Premier Majorette Troupe".
Tammy and the team are doing a brilliant job with the "new" routines and with our new advisor who has performed on stage in the "West End" your routines are going to be crowd pleasers at the shows and competitions through the year. There is also the possibility of a couple of very, very special events in the next few months ............ we will keep you posted on these.

Well as some of you have probably noticed that check on here regularly, certain comments of a spineless individual have been removed as we dont think sewer remarks have any place on a kids group site. On saying that if the said individual would like to come forward Im sure the issue of thier comments can be discussed. heyya people i am in the junior team and our dances are really good .. Cart wait for the compertitions in april it will be a good weekend and in march i am doing a duet aswel that will be good. xxx

Hi, your site looks great, i watched your videos and the girls twirling is really good, the association that we are with don't allow cartwheels, handstands, splits etc but i lnow some of the girls want to do it so we are hoping to set up an elite team within the troupe so girls who want to can do displays etc. I have added you to our links and will be intouch shortly re leotards. Your uniforms are lovely by the way, thats the sort of thing we want but different colours. Anyway speak to you soon Linda x
