Lincs Majorettes and Dance School was formed in 2008 as a non profit making organisation, to help promote self confidence and baton twirling skills for all children in the community. The school started with just eight experienced members from previous troupes and 18 months later numbers over Eighty.
We Teach Children From the age of 3 years up to adults and we offer lessons in Baton Twirling, Miltary Freestyle, and Pom Routines. The cost of each lesson is £3.00 Per Hour and all money goes towrads costumes,Equipment,etc. for the students. We Have Five Teams All Split Up Into Diffrent Ages:
Babies Team: Aged 3 to 6 Years.
Tots Team: Aged 7 to 9 Years.
Tinies Team:Aged 10 to 12 years.
Junior Team: Aged 13 to 15 Years
Senior Team Aged 16 and above (but is openage)
Lincs Majorettes has four trainers : Tammy who teaches all members of the dance school, and also teaches dances for competitions and events. She teaches Baton Twirling, Miltary Freestyle and also the pom routines. Gemma, Shannen and Demi help out with various routines and with teaching Twirling skills to the new members.
Lincs Majorettes has been open for over two years now and lots of its members have competed at national level and have won many awards. They also gained 3rd place in the Cleethorpes Carnival Parade 2008 and 1st Place in the 2009 Cleethorpes Carnival Parade.
